The Kentucky Middle School Association  (KMSA) is an organization committed to promoting and supporting middle level education across Kentucky.  It was founded in 1976 and is an affiliate of the National Middle School Association.  Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the education and well-being of young adolescents.  Current membership includes teachers, administrators, counselors, parents, college students, teacher educators, and Kentucky Department of Education staff.  KMSA is governed by a Board of Directors composed of elected officers and regional directors.
